This game is quite short, so my review will be sufficiently short as well. I quite enjoyed this game in its Katamari-ness. You are a magnetic human body thing that picks up objects as you walk over them, which allows you to grow and pick up increasingly large objects. Each of the 12 levels consists of a time limit that is roughly 2-3 minutes in duration and you are tasked with making yourself as large as possible in that time limit. You are are given a grade at the end of each level according to the number of objects you were able to pick up. Each level has a finite number of objects though and you can be cut off if you reach a certain number of objects.
Gameplay: The game controls with only the left stick of your controller which is odd. It took a bit of getting used to and then still didn't ever quite feel right. I wish the developers had incorporated the second stick to move the camera. The collision on some things is also quite bad and the game throws you around a bit.
Sound: The music is really enjoyable! What plays during the levels and the menus is really great.
Visuals: Not great. They went for a stylized look here and while it was probably great in 2008, it looks pretty bad now. Definitely did not age well. It's not without its own charm though! Each level has its own theme and they are sometimes really neat.
Overall this game is pretty fun and definitely doesn't overstay its welcome. They are asking $10 for it on Steam and that is way more than I'd be comfortable paying for this game. It would be a pretty solid $2-3 buy though, since it is quite a bit of fun. I lost track of time while playing it, which is a really big compliment. 7/10
