I wrote this review on Steam and I think it pretty adequately expresses my beliefs about this game concisely.
"I think this game is fine, but I didn't have a particularly great time playing it. I very quickly grew bored of the text dumps and thought the story was much too similar to The Messenger which I played very recently. The Messenger did it better in my opinion. The game is pretty, easy to control, I really liked the inclusion of so many LGBT characters, and I liked seeing a different culture than what I'm used to growing up in the US (This is more matrilineal instead of patrilineal). I really think that the cardinal sin of this game is telling instead of showing. I backed this game on Kickstarter and I'm really excited to see what Lunar Ray Games does next, but I'd have a hard time recommending this game in particular."
