The first movie review! Brought to you by my super encouraging wife Shelby. =)

We were flipping though Netflix the other night and we decided this looked good and weird. We were right! The movie starts out with Justin Long and Haley Joel Osment taping their ridiculous podcast called the Not See Party (this sets the tone for the whole movie) and Justin Long was planning a trip up north to ridicule a kid who cut his own leg off while filming himself with a katana. They kind of frame Justin's character to be an asshole, openly talking about him cheating on his long-time girlfriend. Anyway, Justin sets off for Canada to do his interview while his girlfriend practically begs him to take her along.

Justin arrives up north to find that the kid killed himself days earlier and he decides to follow up with an interesting looking ad he finds in a gas station bathroom. The posting claims free room and board if a prospective tenant will do some household chores for a crippled old man. The man, in exchange, will tell the roommate tales of their extraordinary life! And that's about all I can say without wading into spoiler territory.

What I can say is that we thoroughly enjoyed watching this ridiculous movie. The actors play it straight, but I don't know how someone could watch this movie with any degree of seriousness. We were talking over it a little and heckling as it came. This movie is weird, a little gross, but overall a really great time! Would recommend [8/10]
