I don't have a whole ton to say about this game. It really felt like it wanted to be Guacamelee but was way less successful. It had the same focus on action and combos that was in Guacamelee but most enemies couldn't be interrupted or stunned so it felt like a lot of hit and run. That combined with how spongy most of the enemies were led to a lot of long, drawn out fights. I didn't really like the gameplay here which is normally the bread and butter of a metroidvania.
I do have to give a big shoutout to the presentation of the game. The art and style on display here was phenomenal. I liked that our main character was a lesbian. I liked that everyone was punk and was leading a rebellion against a megacorp. I though it was extremely weird that one character made our main character (who is an android) and then they had a romantic relationship. No one had anything to say about that either.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this game. I completed it, but there are so many better games out there that I would recommend way easier.
