Majora's Mask PC: 2 Ship 2 Harkinian

Release: 2024, 2000 Completed game with Sakoto Bravo version 1.1.1 This is just a quick review of the PC port for Majora's Mask through the Ship of Harkinian folks. I'm catching this one way earlier in the release schedule than I did the OOT release and I think it shows. There's a ton of good stuff here but I think it's a little hampered by the lack of a randomizer. Some of the Quality of Life mods they included are truly great, but there is more that I would like to see also. I'm sure all of that will come with time! When they release the randomizer portion I will absolutely revisit. A great game that now feels way better to play than it did before!

Ship of Harkinian Randomizer (OOT PC Port)

The Ocarina of Time PC Port! (Video thumbnail stolen How does this work? You have to get ahold of a particular Ocarina of Time ROM and then plug it into the freely available Ship of Harkinian program to unpack the file. Then the game plays natively on PC! Doesn't require an emulator or launcher of any sort, it just works. It's neat! Does it work though? Yeah absolutely. I did maybe 5 seeds and ran into maybe 1-3 crashes each time, but the Ship of Harkinian is in beta so this is expected. Very expected. I did lose some progress (didn't notice the auto-save until too late) but it wasn't bad enough to tinge my experience. I did randomizer runs and had a lovely time. I was able to exclude some checks (kinda hate fishing) and the logic made it so the seeds were beatable. Kingdom Hearts 3 [revisit] + Re Mind

Release: 2020 Developer/Publisher: Square Enix Gameplay Stats: 94 hours, 51/51 achievements, 2 game playthroughs, 1 DLC playthrough Since this is a replay I will keep it short. I think this is a good Kingdom Hearts game. I am more partial to KH2 and I think it's because the world is smaller, which seems weird to write. I think KH3 feels a bit bloated. There is so much distance and so many encounters in between the meaningful content of the game. The story, the bosses, the interesting bits. I think the worlds all look great, but I think the game is bigger than it needs to be. Now onto the DLC, the new bit to me. How did I like it? Honestly it was a bit disappointing to me. There are 3 distinct parts. The first one you get to play the ending of the game again with the option of playing as other characters instead of only Sora. Which is kinda neat I guess?
